Last News It is a pleasure for me telling you what God has been doing by his grace since I came from Costa Rica on May 1st, 2008. From the beginning, I was supported by the Lord in whole. I was lodged in The International Missionary Organization (SIM) during 15 days in Montevideo after sharing with the Christian Missionary Centre of the Community venue in SIM, a nice workshop. Similarly, I came in Rivera, frontier city of Brazil, on May 16th where I was sharing in the Jucum Missionary base. By the way, we could record the 6th DVD of activities for youth being helped by the base staff. It was really wonderful. I stayed in this city called Frontera de la Paz for several months, working with many churches. Then, I started travelling the differents departments of Uruguay, sharing the lider workshop called Ludic Workshop for the Conflict Settlement which was succesful glory to God. I could also share in frontier cities of Uruguay such as Livramento from Brazil and Montecarlos in Entre Rios province, Argentina. In addition, I have shared the Word in different congregations and the last months, I have showed the movie Fireproof. You can see the Demo in www.fireproofthemovie.com. You are going to enjoy it. Till this time, I have had to work in 15 departments from 19 which this republic contains. To sum up, I have been in Guihón City 360 kms. From Montevideo City which belongs to Paysandú Department 5 weeks ago, working 3 areas mainly. The most important is the Youth Center Gym. This was an idea which was born for helping the congregation members who have difficulties to do exercises in winter because of the low temperatures. The idea is that they have a place to do exercises and help us as strategy to share with friends of the Guihón Community. Up to date, it has been succesful. In addition, I am sharing in a handicapped person learning center using ludic ideas for the rehabilitation of the patients and I am also visiting the school that is located to a side of the Baptist Church where I live, sharing with students and teachers some techniques for teaching values through ludic activities. As you know this country is lay by law so this does not allow us to mention something related to religion. So we need to be discreet and wise in this sense. To sum up, it is good to be in this country which has only 4% christian people. Besides, the evangelism per person is carried out every day, persuading them how good the relationship to Jesus is. Finally, I need you help me to pray for these 3 purposes: wisdom from the highest to follow with these advances, health, the health that God can always give, finances to go to the dentist and also to buy a professional bicycle that I can get it on from one place to another. One brother of the congregation gave one but I want one to get it on road now. Here the bicycle costs 7500 Uruguayan pesos, that means $300. Thank you very much for your supporting and I ask for you wrote me at the moment as Proverbs says: “As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.” So don’t forget to write me.
